Best Friends...

Capri has been having so much fun playing with all of her best friends.

Last weekend we had dinner and a rook tournament with some of our friends at Shannon and Dallin's house. Capri got to play with Hudson and she LOVED it, they had so much fun together. They are hilarious when they are playing, they love to just stare at each other and hold hands its so cute!!!

This week Rachel, Amanda, and Lindsey came over to my house for a little girls night. All of our hubby's are working and in school LATE so we decided to get together and have dinner and let the little girls play. They all had so much fun together!! Capri wishes she could crawl around and keep up with Maddie and Avery. Only a couple more months until she can REALLY play with them.

We decided to have a "favorite things" night while the babies played. I made one of my favorite recipes, chicken enchiladas, they are AMAZING and super fattening. click here for the recipe. I love this sweet girl SO much. She is starting to sit up and roll around. I remember when she was just a little five pounder. I know she is only five months old but I cant believe how fast she is growing. I wish I could slow time down!!!

2011 was such a great year!! It started out with Tay and I finding out that I was pregnant. It was the best news EVER to ring in the new year. We had so many memorable moments in 2011. Here is a look back into what this past year has been like for us...

We are excited to see what 2012 has in store for us. Hopefully it will be as good as last year! So far it has been super busy. I have a whopping 19 credits this semester and I will graduate this April in Communications PR. I can't wait to be done with school. I am so lucky to have my Mom and Tay's mom watch Capri so I can finish.

Tay also has a very busy schedule. This semester is going to be his hardest yet. He has Chemistry, Physics, Biology and MCAT courses that he is taking. He's tackling the MCAT in May, so these next few months are going to be crazy. I will be counting down the days until Graduation!!!

Some of our New Years goals are to run a couple of half marathons, graduate, and get into medical school... Hopefully we can accomplish these!!!

Christmas...

Christmas was a blast this year. We did so many fun things over the break. It was WONDERFUL to be able to spend some relaxing time with Tay. He is always so busy in school and working so hard that I had been looking forward to Christmas Break ALL semester. I seriously countdown the hours through finals week!! Anyway... We mostly spent time with each other and family. We went to dinner A LOT, (my Dad's new years goal is to try to not let our family eat out as much...we will see how long that lasts) we went to lots of movies, shopping, (another of my Dad's new years goals... to not let us shop anymore...we will also see how long that goal lasts) we went to see the lights at temple square, and we went on a family ski vaca (see post below).

But by far the best part of Christmas was being together with our little family, having our little Capri to share the holidays with!!!

Ski Week...

My parents surprised us with a ski Vacation up in Park city for Christmas. This was seriously the funnest trip EVER!! We stayed at Hotel Park City which is one of my favorite places to stay. The rooms are gorgeous and the best part was that they each had there own hot tub!! We went skiing at Deer Valley, ate at AMAZING restaurants, hot-tubbed, played games, watched movies, and shopped. I only wish that this little vacay would have lasted a little longer!! We are all hoping this becomes an annual tradition!!!

Four months old...

I can't believe that Capri is already four months old. She just keeps getting more fun by the minute. She has the cutest personality and the cutest laugh in the world! Today we had her 4 month check up and she is healthy, happy, chubby, and perfect!! Her 4 month stats are : 80th percentile in weight and 84th in height...Here are some of my fav pictures from the month...

This weekend was full of family again!!! We have the best family ever so we are usually with them on the weekends and A LOT during the week!!

Tay was in San Francisco for part of the weekend, for a school project, so I packed my bags and headed over to my Mom's house. Capri was of course in heaven because her Grammy, Papa and Aunts give her SO much attention, they play with her ALL day, they make up cute songs for her and sing to her, and they sneak her little sips of lemonade when I'm not looking!!

We went to Brick Oven on Friday night for dinner with everyone, and Tay got home just in time from his trip to be able to meet us there . On Saturday I woke up at 6:30 after only sleeping for 4 hours to go to my step class (thats how much I love that class). I ran home and got Capri and myself ready for the basketball game then we went to pick up Rachel at her house, then drove up to my mom's so we could all drive to the game together since it was at the Energy Solutions Arena. We got there just in time for the lunch before the game. It was a great game and the best part was that we got to take our picture with the JIMMER!!!!!

Capri is getting SO big, she is almost four months old. Crazy how fast time goes by!! She is sleeping through the night now which is AMAZING!!! She is the best, sweetest baby is the world with the most beautiful big blue eyes. She smiles and laughs so much now I just love it. Here are some recent pictures of her...

Thanksgiving Weekend...

I pretty much stole this post from my sister Rachel's AMAZING blog because we were together and did the same things all weekend. Thanks Rach!!- Thanksgiving was so much fun this year. I always love Thanksgiving because it gives me a good excuse to play with my sisters and family ALL weekend. and when I say all weekend I mean it.

Rach and I planned on having our families {Drew,Tay and Capri} sleep over at my Mom's house the night before Thanksgiving because the Turkey Trot {a race my family has run every Thanksgiving for the past 5 years} was so early in the morning.

We decided Thanksgiving night to sleep over again for Black Friday shopping

and the sleep overs turned into a 4-day slumber party at my parents house and we had SO much fun.

Wednesday:

Cheesecake Factory with the cousins, shopping ALL day, dodging people at the grocery

store and checking and re-checking grocery lists for Thanksgiving dinner.

Thursday:

Turkey Trot race, a long nap by the fire,

baking, cooking, cleaning and spending time

with amazing family, playing games and watching Christmas Vacation.

Friday:

shopping with all the girls, boys shopping at who knows where, Christmas

lights at Temple Square, Hot Cocoa and Z-Tejas.

Saturday:

Lounging in our sweats all day and just relaxing, Me, Tay, Amy, Rach and Drew getting stir
crazy and using the new app Find My Friends {great for stalking your sisters}

to find my little sis Megs at her friends house,spying on her and her little boyfriends, Drew being chased down by a high-school footballer

and a text from meg that said: "you all are creeps!"

Capri's Blessing Day...

Capri was blessed on October 9th. This was such a special day. I have been looking forward to this day for such a long time!! When I first found out I was pregnant and there was a baby blessing in my ward I would get so excited for it and I would lean over to Taylor and say, "are you ready for that??" and he would say, "yes, I can't wait, but it seems like FOREVER away!!" Well it came faster than we thought!! These past three months with Capri have been AMAZING, and they have flown by! She looked so beautiful in her blessing her dress. We had all of our family come to the blessing which meant so much to us. Tay did a great job blessing her, and I am so grateful to have such a wonderful husband! We feel so blessed to have the gospel in our lives.

Halloween...

Halloween was so much fun this year. The best part was dressing up Capri! We had so many fun parties that consisted of eating lots and lots of candy and treats, ( i may have had one too many pumpkin sugar cookies) my Dad's homemade chili which was AMAZING this year, and hanging out with friends and family. Conference Weekend...

On Friday night we went to the BYU football game and Capri looked so dang cute. She was definitely the cutest cheerleader at the game! Tay couldn't go to the game because he was taking a test:( We were so sad he couldn't come and play with us and he missed a great game but he did get an A on his test. WAHOO!

Saturday was SO much fun. I LOVE conference weekend. We watched the first session which was so great and then Tay and I dropped Capri off with Tay's mom, Marianne, and then we went on a six mile run up to Bridal Veil Falls. It was perfect weather and the leaves are starting to change... Gorgeous! I am doing a 10K next Saturday and I am SO excited/nervous. I just love races. Its the best feeling when you finish!! I am hoping to do the Snow Canyon half marathon next month but we will see if I can get ready by then!! Anyway... After our run we watched the second session of conference then Rach and I headed up to Draper to have a girls night out while the boys were at preisthood. All the girls went and got Mani/pedis. I love my sisters and Mom so much its so fun to hang out with them!! After that we met the boys at Texas Road House. On Sunday We had a big breakfast up at my parents house and watched conference. Such a fun Weekend!!!

This weekend was so much fun and consisted of lots of football!! On Friday night my family went to the Alta vs Jordan game. I haven't been to a high school game for a long time but my Dad REALLY wanted to go so we all decided to go with him. We sat on the Alta side but I was secretly cheering for Jordan!! On Saturday we went to the BYU game. Even though the Cougars lost it was sill a blast! I love going to the BYU games!! We took Capri and she slept the whole time. She is the BEST baby ever!

One Month...

Capri is one month old today!! I cant believe it, time has just flown by. Tay and I just love her so much and can't get enough of her! Here are some of our favorite pictures from her first month...

Birth Story...

August 12th was the best day EVER!!! It started out as any normal day. I got up at 8 am, took a shower and headed to the hospital with Taylor to have a routine ultrasound. (I had been going in twice a week since week 33 to have an ultrasound because I had low amniotic fluid and if the fluid gets to low then they have to take the baby.) We got to the hospital and they started doing my ultrasound, the tech started looking concerned and said that my fluid was looking really low and that she needed to get a second opinion. So we went to another room with a different tech and she started doing another ultrasound with more high tech equipment. Again, the fluid looked really low... so she called in a specialist who came in to give a third opinion. The specialist looked at me and said, "you are having a baby today!!!" Taylor and I looked at each other in shock! We could not believe that we were going to meet our precious little girl so soon!!! I was scared that I was only 37 weeks along but I was secretly excited to hold my little girl. I asked if I could go home and pack my stuff and they started to laugh and said, "heck no, you need to get checked in and we need to start monitoring the baby." I quickly called my Mom, Dad, and Rachel. They were all so excited and rushed down to the hospital.

I was all hooked up to my monitors around 11:00 am, my family arrived at the hospital about 1:00 p.m. Shortly thereafter I had my epidural. Because of the low fluid and because the baby was breech I had to get a c-section. It was the most surreal experience I have ever been through. Taylor gave me a kiss and the nurses and Doctors started wheeling me off into the operating room. I was SOOO nervous, but Taylor kept talking to me and that made me feel so much better to have him right there. I kept telling the Dr. to up my dosage for the epidural because I didn't want to feel the knife cutting me. That was a huge mistake because they numbed me so much that I felt like I couldn't breathe, and I felt like I was going to have a panic attack! So i asked for oxygen and soon I felt calm. I was so loopy and out of it that I don't remember much, but about fifteen minutes later they pulled the baby out and I saw her for the first time. I could not believe that my baby girl was here! They whisked her away with Taylor and cleaned her up. They then brought her to me maybe for a minute or two and I remember that she smelled so good and I just wanted to hold her. She was the most beautiful bundle of love I have ever seen, and I couldn't believe she was mine.

After that, they took her up to the NICU because she had low blood sugar and had fluid stuck in her lungs. I was getting so antsy and anxious to hold her. The nurses kept telling me that they would bring her in twenty more minutes but that ended up turning into around 4 hours. At 11:00 pm they finally brought her to me and I got to hold her for the first time. It was AMAZING. I instantly fell in love her. Taylor and I feel so blessed to have little Capri in our lives.

Last weekend we had my baby shower and it was so much fun!! Rachel threw it for me and it was seriously the cutest baby shower I have ever seen. She did such a great job!! I got so much fun stuff that I CANNOT wait to use!!

Shannon and I are both 32 weeks in this picture. It has been so much fun being pregnant with her! We have the same doctor and are delivering at the same hospital just a couple days apart. Crazy!!

I think I gained 5 pounds at this shower ha!

I am so excited to meet my baby girl. I only have 6 weeks left now, but I am so impatient and just want her to come right now. Luckily time has been flying by because we have been super busy with moving the past couple of weeks. We finally got our condo rented and we found the cutest town home to move into. Its just around the corner from where we lived before. I am so happy that we are still in our same ward!!

Updates and Summer!!

I am so excited that it is finally starting to get warm. I just hope that this nice weather lasts. Tay and I have had a busy summer so far. Here what we have been up to the past couple of months...

I am in school and I am also doing an internship for my dads company. Its actually been really fun and interesting! I get to follow him around to his different meetings and I have been helping them get going with some PR and marketing stuff. I have also been getting ready for the baby to come. I CAN'T wait! I have gotten her crib, car seat, diaper bag, and LOTS of cute clothes (Thanks Mom)!! I feel like I am getting HUGE...my belly has really started to pop! Thankfully, I haven't really been sick at all my whole pregnancy! I still work out quite a bit which I think has been the reason I feel so good. I have been going to step and kickboxing classes which are so much fun, I also go on lots of walks with my family, but I cant wait to start running again after this cute baby comes! I am mostly excited to get a jogging stroller so I can take her on runs with me!!

Tay has had a VERY busy summer so far as well. He is taking organic chemistry and some business classes. I feel like I haven't seen him very much in the past couple of weeks because he is always studying and taking tests. He recently got into the finance program at BYU so he is doing that and all of his medical school classes. He is so crazy- by the time he graduates he will have a Major in Finance with minors in Chemistry and Spanish. I am so proud of him for doing all of this and working so hard for our family. After this summer semester ends in 9 DAYS (whose counting?) he will do an internship with a venture capitalist firm called VSpring. It will be SO nice for him to be able to have a break from school while he is doing this internship and I will get to play with him WAY more WAHOO!!!!!!!

One other thing I have to blog about is that we get to go to "The Ranch" in Colorado. I am so excited because Tay hasn't ever been there and it is one of my ALL TIME favorite places to go.

Tay and I went to Scottsdale, AZ a few weeks ago for a quick little getaway. Tay only had a few days off of school before the summer semester started so we decided scottsdale would be fun!! We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Resort at Gainey Ranch and it was AMAZING!! The hotel was beautiful and the pool was so much fun. We mostly just swam and ate. We also got to hang out with Tay's sister Heather and her cute family. It was such a fun and relaxing trip! We cant wait to go back!!!

We went to Easter Brunch at Capital Grille. The food was so GOOD!

Hanging out by the pool was so relaxing. We both just read the whole time at the pool. Tay finished the last book in the Hunger Games series and I read Matched.

Cant wait to go back!!!!!

20 weeks

Today we had our BIG 20 week ultrasound.. The baby looks perfectly healthy and she is so dang cute!! I can't wait to meet her! I am half way there and I cant believe how fast its gone so far!! I am definitely starting to show now. I swear my belly has grown so much with in the last couple of days its so crazy!! I can feel her kick now which I LOVE, it makes it a little hard to concentrate on school because I just want to focus on her kicking!! I have started planning what I want to do for her nursery and this is what I have so far...

We are PREGNANT!! I am 100% sure everyone already knew this but I had to officially announce it on my blog. I am almost 16 weeks now and we just found out that we are having a baby GIRL! We were both a little shocked but are so excited! The ultra sound was the most amazing thing! We got to see her moving and bouncing around in there. She is seriously the cutest thing EVER. Tay and I are already so obsessed with her and cant wait to meet her!!

UPDATES!!

I haven't blogged in FOREVER so I decided that it was probably time! This fall and winter have been so much fun and very busy. Tay and I have been super busy with...

1. School- Taylor got a 4.0 at BYU in his hardest semester yet. He has 2 more semesters until he graduates and applies to Medical School. I also have two semesters left. I am graduating in Communications (PR) WAHOO! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!

2. Church callings- Tay and I were the Sunday school teachers for the youth for about a year and we LOVED it! The kids were so fun that we got to teach! Then we got released and Tay was called to be the Elders Quorum President which takes up most of his free time. And I was called into the nursery.

3. Running- I decided last July that I needed to find a new "hobby" so I decided to try running. I bit the bullet and signed up for a Half Marathon. I printed out a half marathon training schedule and decided to go for it! It turns out that I LOVE running and had so much fun with it. It was a lot of hard work and felt like a part time job but it was so worth it. In 2010 I ended up running a Marathon Relay, 3- 5K's, 3 -10K's, and 2 Half Marathons!! I have to thank my two trainers. My dad and Taylor. My dad would ride his bike along side me while I ran ten+ miles every Saturday. He was such a good coach and he better be getting excited to help me train for my FULL Marathon that I want to do next year. Taylor also helped me train, he would wake up at 6:00 AM and run up the Provo Canyon with me. We got stuck in a few Blizzards up there but It was so much fun and I cant wait to do that again next year. Good thing I have LULU Lemon to keep me motivated with their cute running outfits that I am just a little too obsessed with.

4. Holidays- All of the Holidays were so much fun this year. We started Thanksgiving out right by running a 10K in 2 degree weather, yes it was FREEZING I couldn't feel my face the whole time I was running! We then went to my parents house for a big breakfast with my dad's side of the Family. Then later that night we ate dinner with Taylor's Family which was a blast! The food was AMAZING! For Christmas EVE we hung out with Tay's family during the day and then went to my parents for dinner and the annual Talent show. Let me just tell you the Jackson's, Parcell's, Skalla's, Knights, and Bowerman's are one talented group! We then had a big sleep over and woke up at about 6 a.m. the next morning to open presents. Then we had a big breakfast, The boys played basketball and we ended the night by playing Just Dance 2. This was the Best Christmas EVER and I LOVE my family SOOO MUCH!! Taylor and I have been so blessed this year and we cant wait to see what 2011 holds for us, I hope its as great as 2010 was!!

Rachel and Drew's Wedding!!

Rachel and Drew got married on Saturday, August 28th!! It was such a great day. I am so proud of them. The Ceremony was AMAZING and the reception was BEAUTIFUL! Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Parcell!!

Anniversary Weekend!!

On Saturday the 31st It was mine and Tay's 1st anniversary so we decided to make a weekend out of it!! On Friday we went and had lunch up in Park City and did the Alpine Slide and the zip line with my Mom, Dad, and Amy. My parents anniversary is the day before ours so we wanted to all hang out together! On saturday night Tay's parents, the Parcell's, Rach, Drew, and my family all went to Ruth's Chris to celebrate our anniversary. It was a blast to have everyone all together! Later that night we went to a concert at Deer Valley. It was the called the 3 Broadway Divas concert and they sang a bunch of broadway songs and they were really good. After that we all went up to the new St. Regis hotel where Tay and I cut our wedding cake and made every one try it. It actually didn't taste like it was a year old, it was good! Tay and I stayed at the St. Regis that night and then the next morning we went to a brunch at The Stein Ericksen Lodge it was SO good! This was such a fun weekend and I was so glad that I got to spend it with my family. Especially Tay. I cant believe we have been married for a year now. It has gone by so fast!!! I cant wait for all the many years to come!! LOVE YOU TAY!!

Fourth of July Weekend!!

This 4th of July was SO much fun! I think its the best one I have ever had. We had lots of BBQ's. We ran a 5K and a 10K which I LOVED I cant wait to run more,we played tennis, hung out with family, and went to the Stadium of Fire which was a blast. Carrie Underwood was AMAZING!! LAKE POWELL

This past week Tay and I got to go to Lake Powell with the Parcell's. It was so much fun!! We both hadn't been to Powell in a couple of years so we were extremely excited to go! This trip was a BLAST. We got to go surfing, tubing, jet skiing and hiking. The hikes were really hard but I actually think I liked them now that they are over - haha. :D Thanks Parcell's for letting us come with you!!!

Three White Dresses

June 26th was such a great day!! My cousin Craig and his High School sweetheart of five years were married in the Salt Lake Temple, my cute niece Halle was Baptised and my other niece Molly who is Halle's sister was blessed all in the same day. This was such a special day and I am so happy that I got to be apart of it. I LOVE my family so much!! Here are some pictures of this special day!!

VEGAS!!

This past week my family went to Vegas for Megan's National Dance Competition. It was so much fun! We were there for five days. We stayed at a beautiful resort in Lake Las Vegas called Loews. It sat right on the lake and had a couple of pools that we basically lived at. Some fun things that we did was... swim, lay out, and I read "Hunger Games" (Which I LOVED)!! I just started the second book, Catching Fire, and I can't wait to finish it! We watched Megan dance and she was AMAZING as always. She got second place overall on one of her solo's! She even won some scholarship money! The rest of the Dance Club girls were awesome as well. I love watching all of them!!! I can't believe how good they are! We went onto the strip one night and went to a restaurant called Maggianos and we did a little shopping too!! I got some cute new Lulu Lemon stuff wahoo! I can't wait for Megans nationals again next year!

HAWAII 2010

Taylor and I just got back from the best trip EVER!! We had a blast in Hawaii with all of the Jacksons. WE didn't want to come home at all. Eight days is definitely not long enough. Some of the things we did was lay out by the pool, eat A LOT-our favorite is the Lailanis Nachos, we both read Eclipse and I also read Breaking Dawn which I LOVED. It is definitely my favorite of the Twilight series. Some other things we did was go to Lahina- its a cute little town right by the Marriot where we stayed, we had frozen yogurt every night, and my favorite part of the trip was mine and Tays football game. I cant wait to go again next year, I have already started the count down!!!

Rachel and Drew got engaged last week!! Tay and I are SOOO excited for them!! They are seriously the cutest couple ever. We love playing with them and Tay couldn't be happier that there will be another guy in the family. Drew took Rachel snow shoeing in Sundance up to a beautiful waterfall and popped the question. Rach was SO SURPRISED!! Her ring is amazing. After they got engaged we all went over to Drew's house for the cutest little engagement party. It was so much fun to be able to meet Drew's whole family. CONGRATS RACH AND DREW!!!!!

Easter/Conference weekend!

This weekend was SO much fun. We got to spend a lot of time with our families. On Friday night I had a girls night with my mom and Megan.We went to the Cheesecake Factory and then saw "The Last Song" and I loved it!! I was surprised that I liked it so much. Tay was sick so he couldn't come, he had to sleep:( On Saturday we watched conference and then we went to Tay's parents house for Madeline's baby blessing(Rosie's baby) and a big family dinner. Madeline's blessing dress was GORGEOUS!!!!! On Sunday we watched conference again at my parents house and then had a DELICIOUS dinner at Aunt Nancy's. Later we opened our cute Easter baskets from the EASTER BUNNY aka my mom!!! We missed Rach and Drew, they were with his family in Las Vegas, it's always a party when they are around but besides that the whole weekend was PERFECT! It was hard getting back to reality and going to school. The good news is we have less than a month until the semester is over and only 2 more months until we go to HAWAII WAHOO!!!! I cant wait!!!!!

Parents for a Weekend!

This weekend Tay and I got to babysit our niece and nephew Ruby and Jacob while their parents were on a cruise. We had so much fun with them! We ate pizza, watched Chicken Little at least six times, played princesses, went to a movie "The Tooth Fairy" and went to SLC to watch my sissy Megan dance and hang out with my family!! Valentines Weekend!!!

This weekend was SO much fun!! My parents went out of town. My dad surprised my mom with a trip to Vegas for Valentines Day, so Tay and I got to babysit my little sissy's. On Friday night Tay, Megan, Rach, Drew and I went to see the new movie Valentines Day. I LOVED IT!!! It was so cute!!! Taylor Swift was adorable in the movie! After that we all went to Outback for dinner. It was such a fun night!!

On Saturday we all woke up and had "Hootinannies" (German pancakes) for breakfast. I think they were my best batch yet!!! We got ready for the day and then went to the BYU game. Can you say BLOWOUT???? After the game Drew took Rachel to chefs table. Tay and I came back to my parents house with Megan and Amy. We were hungry so we asked the girls what they wanted for dinner...let me tell you, they are HIGH MAINTENANCE hahaha. Tay and I wanted Cafe Rio Megs wanted Water Moon and Amy and her friend wanted Little Caesars Pizza!! Needless to say we loaded up the car and went to get the food. It was actually really fun going to a bunch of different places! We came back, ate, and played games with the girls. Such aROMANTIC Valentines Day!! ;) Taylor is a good sport, and I'm so thankful that he loves my little sisters so much!!!

On Sunday morning Tay surprised me with a dozen long stem red roses!!! They were so pretty! He is so cute and the best hubby ever!! I love that we could just hang out with my little sisters the whole weekend and on V-Day and still have so much fun and be totally fine not doing anything elaborate! My parents got home later that night and my mom made a romantic candle lit Valentines Day dinner. It was so yummy!! I was kind of sad when my parents got home because I had so much fun spending time with Megan, Amy and Rach.

On Monday night - the day after Valentines Day Taylor surprised me with a dinner date to Chef's Table. It was so unexpected and their food is AMAZING!!! LOVE YOU SUGAR!!! Our first Valentines Day as a married couple was fantastic!!! I'm so grateful for all the wonderful things that Taylor does for us. I feel very blessed!!!

6 MONTHS!!!

I cant beleive how fast time goes, Tay and I have been married for 6 months today!! This has been the best 6 months EVER!! It seems like just yesterday we got married. Taylor is the BEST. He is always so sweet and just amazing to me. I cant wait for the months and years to come!! Love you TAY TAY!!!

CHRISTMAS BREAK

This Christmas break was SO much fun!! Tay and I got to spend so much time together and with our families. We kicked off our break by going to Vegas for the bowl game with just the two of us. We seriously had the best time! We mostly shopped, ate A LOT, went to the Cirque De Soleil show Mystere, and went to the FREEZING COLD BYU game. I have never been so cold in my life!! It was still a blast though. We were sad to leave but we were also excited to get home and have our first Christmas together. We spent Christmas Eve at Tay's parents house and then after that we went up to Draper and slept at my parents house so we could spend Christmas morning with them! I woke up at FIVE in the morning because I was so excited to open presents!! Taylor wouldn't wake up so all my sisters came in and jumped on him to try to get him up!! After he finally woke up we got to see what Santa brought us and have a big breakfast with my Dads side of the family we also had a talent show with everyone! This was the best Christmas EVER!! Being married at Christmas time is the best! One of the fun things we got from Taylor's family for christmas was to go to the Jazz game with all of his brothers and sisters and all of their kids. We went to the game in a LIMO and then sat on the front row for the first half of the game and then we were in the suite for the second half!! Be prepared for A LOT of pictures!!

I haven't updated in a while so I decided it was time.... This fall has been so much fun!! We have gone to haunted houses with friends, gone to lots of football games, had my birthday, and had the annual Jackson family Pumpkin Carving Party. The party was so much fun! We had LOTS of pizza and sugar cookies!! Rosie (Tay's sister) makes the best sugar cookies EVER! Then we carved our pumpkins. Tay is very experienced in pumpkin carving because they have this party every year. He carved a skeleton, it was one of the harder designs and I was VERY impressed!! I carved a spider and I was so proud of myself because this was the first time in probably 10 years that I had carved a pumpkin. It actually turned out better than I thought it would!! We have also been to lots of football games. BYU has not been doing so great but the games are still SO much fun! Here are some Pictures ENJOY!!

Wow, we're HOT!! ;)

Taylor turned 24 in August...wahoo! a few days before his Birthday I threw him a little family party at our house. Both of our families came, it was so fun!! We had a little Cali Pizza - Tay's fav. and BBQ chicken salad, my fav. For his birthday we went to Park city. We stayed at Hotel Park City...our room was AMAZING!!!!! We absolutely loved the Alpine Slide, and shopping on Main Street was a blast. We went to dinner at a place called Cafe Terigo, it's an Italian place...YUMMY! We got ice cream and carmel apples for dessert!! Back at the hotel we went hot tubbing for a couple hours (the hot tub was huge) and we had it all to ourselves! We had an amazing time in Park City!!!! It's the best!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAY TAY...LOVE YOU!!!

Two is Better Than One!!!!!!!!

It will not come as any surprise to my closest friends that I love Taylor Swift (Don't even get me started on what Kanye did to her at the VMA's)!!! So, last night I heard a new song of hers..."Two is Better Than One." Well it got me thinking... I have two amazing examples of forever love in my family. My Grandparents...Grandma Mary & Papa LD, and Grandma Judy & Papa Dean!! Combined they have been married for 100 years!!! That's right, both sets celebrate their 50Th anniversaries this year. AMAZING!!!! The best part is that they are still IN LOVE with each other. Last December my Grandma Mary had a massive Stroke. It was beyond horrible. The worst/best part was seeing my Papa L.D. at the hospital with her. He was completely beside himself at the thought of losing her. I was sobbing as I watched him walk beside her as the doctors were wheeling her into surgery. He was holding her hand and just kept telling her, "I love you, I don't know what I'll do if I lose you..." Watching his range of emotions that night changed something in me. Over the next few weeks, I had to make some extremely difficult decisions to say the least. I realized that the person you choose, and who chooses you, is everything!!! I'm so glad Taylor and I found our way back to each other (I'll save that blog post for another time). Marrying Taylor is the best thing I have ever done in my life. He makes me want to be a better person, he challenges me, he believes in me, even when I don't believe in myself. He loves me, and I love him!!!!! He is perfect for me. Together we are whole. He is the person I see myself facing life's challenges with. He's the person I see myself holding hands with when I'm old and Gray!!! Two is definitely better that one!!!!!

Honeymoon in Paradise!!!!!!

Tay and I spent a wonderful week in Paradise! We stayed at the JW Marriott at Ko Olina, on Oahu. It was so amazing! Our favorite part was just being together!!! Over the summer we traveled to Arizona, Vegas, Maui, and New York...but we were always with friends or family (which was so fun). But it was so nice to finally have our time! We played on the beach, layed-out in our Cabana, swam, went on a helicopter ride, shopped, and ate (the food was sooo good)!!! We didn't want to leave, but we were so excited to come home and start our new life together!!! Here are a few of our favorite photos!! We did learn that with just two people - taking pictures is harder ;)
